International Dog Show Gent (B), 23.04.1978

We were allowed to accompany family Sperlich ("von Dusrani"), who showed three of their self-bred Shelties under Mrs. M. Searle, GB. Even though we did not take any awards back to Germany on this day, we got to see wonderful Shelties. There were 16 Shelties entered, 14 present - 9 of them GB imports. Ch. Philhope Nicolay, a sable male standing in Belgium got the CACIB and became Best of Breed. Shelert's Sober Reflection, a tricolour in NL ownership, won the bitch ticket.  Also both reserve CACIBs went to NL: Ch. Maramin's Manhatten and Ch. Shelert's Sweet As A Lolly (both sable/white).
The photos are not very good, but a nice reminder of the day.
