The Gentlewoman, 12.09, 1908, Page 347:
"A Famous Shetland Collie.
'Olafsen,' whose portrait is given on this page, was the winner of First Prize and Special Prize for best Shetland Collie at the Scottish Agricultural Society Show at Aberdeen. 'Olafsen' is a lovely tricolour Shetland, and in awarding the Championship prizes, the judge remarked that he was the most typical specimen he had as yet seen. 'Olafsen' stands twelve inches high and weighs only eleven pounds, age one year. He is owned and bred by Mr. Hector Whitehead, the well-known breeder of white West Highland terriers and Shetland collies. Should any of our readers desire to possess one of these delightful pets they should apply to Mr. Whitehead, Tillydrine, Kingussie, N.B.
Edina"
It is a pity that one only can guess on the mentioned portrait how Olafsen looks like.
