1976 IDS Wiesbaden Catalogue

My first dog show, which I attended with my own dog, was the International Dog Show in Wiesbaden on 14.11.1976. 13 Shelties were entered, and all 13 were present. The CACIB went to a Danish sable male and the bitches were won by a blue merle beauty: Ch. Greensands Go-Ahead.
There is a short description of the Sheltie in the catalogue. The CfBrH must have used the same lines for over 13 years because I also found them in the catalogue of the IDS Ludwigshafen 1963:

"Der Sheltie (Shetland Schäferhund) ist das liebenswürdige Miniatur-Ebenbild des Collies. Trotz seiner Zierlichkeit (35 cm Schulterhöhe) ist er ein ebenso ausdauernder und zäher Hirtenhund wie der Collie. In seiner Heimat, den Shetland-Inseln, hütet er im härtesten Klima die dortigen Zwerg-Rinder und Schafe."
