"At the end of the 60's, Mrs. Hilde Severing raised her first Sheltie litters from her Anni vom Karthäuser Hain and her daughter Isabell vom Ahnetal and granddaughter Laura vom Ahnetal after males from Mrs. Ch. Habekuss. Mrs. Severing was never a big show-goer, but her Shelties stood for quality, and several other kennels were able to start breeding from her dogs. In early 1992, Mr. Severing passed away and Mrs. Severing retired from the active Sheltie breeding scene." *1
