Shetland Books

Excerpts about Shelties from general dog books.
(I would like to expand my collection. If you also have such history "treasures", please contact me.)

The first snippets I gathered were from very old books about the Shetland Sheepdog's homeland, the Shetland Islands. In some of the books dogs are mentioned in connection with sheep farming or crofting. Also remarks about the Shetland Islands, e.g. the history, geographical location, agriculture and the inhabitans are very interesting.
